Mālō e lelei, My name is Nisi Tongia.  I am a Tongan/Niuean artist from the island of Vava’u in the Kingdom of Tonga. I have been tattooing for 5+ years. For the past four years, I lived in Apia, Sāmoa with my family and now I’ve moved back to the U.S. to work with my good friend Kiti at Friendly Island Tattoo.  My expereince living in different Pacific islands has inspired my mixed-polynesian style, incorporating various traditional methods and designs from across the Pacific in my tattoos and art. My goal is to share the love of art and tattoo design with a message of joy, love, respect, hope and power, and to inspire future generations to share in this love of art to work towards a better world. My wife and I have two daughters, Hinakauea and Evalini.
